Measure the chest just behind the front legs, and the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Where your cat falls between two sizes, take the larger one. A winter dress that's slightly loose is wearable; one that's tight across the chest isn't.
Worth knowing
Flannel is soft and has some give, which makes it easier to get onto a cat than a stiff garment. It's a real help for thin-coated or hairless cats, older cats who feel the cold, and cats recovering from a clip or a procedure.
